To be considered for a leading role, prepare 16 bars of a song from a musical.

Still needs baritones for the roles of Guglielmo and Don Alfonso.As well as all voices for the chorus
For leads, prepare one aria in English and bring additional repertoire in case you're asked to sing more.
For chorus, prepare one short aria or song in English.
All leads are paid stipends: $100-150 for the production.
A few rehearsals in December. Most of the rehearsals in January. Performances: January 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29, 2012.

"I Never Saw Another Butterfly is a beautiful and poignant musical play about love, hope, empowerment and remembrance set against the backdrop of the Holocaust. This compelling story is inspired by the poetry, drawings and lives of the children imprisoned between 1942 and 1944 at Terezin."

We will start wrapping things up around 8:45 p.m.
-7 minutes max, including setup.
-Open to: Singers, Actors, Poets, Story Tellers, Stand up Comics, Jugglers, Magicians, Dancers, and Instrumentalists.
-Pianist Keith Burton will be available to play for anyone who needs an accompanist.
-A CD player will also be available.

Children ages 5 to 8:
Thursdays 5:00-6:00 PM and Saturdays 11:00 AM-12:00
Children ages 9 to 12:
Thursdays 6:15-7:15 PM and Saturdays 12:15-1:15 PM
Fee for all 12 classes is $150
Fee for individual classes is $20
This classes are process (rather than product) oriented. There will not be a presentation or performance at the end. The classes include theatre exercises and games, improvisation, and short scenes.
Let us know if you are signing up via email. If your child will just be attending some individual classes, let us know which classes so we can be prepared. Fee can be paid at the first class (or the first class your child will attend).
